I want to try Diablo in SheepShaver but when I run the Installer, it keeps telling me that "Please insert Diablo CD". Is there anyway to mount the ISO file as CDROM not hard drive?
(This ISO file has a HFS volume).
How do I mount an ISO as CD-ROM in SheepShaver?

Hi,
Is you iso set to read only?

Yes it is. I learned that if it is not set to read-only, SheepShaver will modify my ISO and make it unusable, right?
Re: How do I mount an ISO as CD-ROM in SheepShaver?
No, not necessarily but SheepShaver might recognise your iso as hard disk when the image is not locked. What icon does your iso show on the desktop? Is it the game icon?
If so, the check inside the game on whether the CD is inserted might have an issue with the way SheepShaver mounts your iso. You could try to use the virtual dvd/cd mounter to trick the game.

About Virtual DVD/CD mounter, yeah it worked. Thank you =))
BTW, how can the SheepShaver read HFS partition from CD Drive? The host reads ISO partition.
Re: How do I mount an ISO as CD-ROM in SheepShaver?
Because it has software included which allows it to read the structure and data from HFS partitions.
Providing the option to read CDs would be of limited use if HFS wasn't supported
