maybe the slirp codes should be updated...

Post by kikyoulinux »

I was using Neozeed's pcap Sheep browse the Internet with IE 5.1 on the emulator. It was as stable as on a real Mac.

However after I switching it to slirp mode and doing the same things, the emulator crashed as usual. But the slirp mode never cause such crash on OS X build.

I think the crash was caused by the slirp codes, at least on Windows and Linux.

Yes,

This is a well-known issue with slirp.

SLIRP is never stable under Windows since 2006 release of SS..

And what's the point of browsing an HTML5-enabled site using such a weak platform and old browser?

Hi from Hong Kong! If you can build from source just drop cockatrice slirp in there.. I had so many issues with the way sheep works by crashing and catching it to intercept. ... I tried messing with dynamips but I'm never able to get far before life interrupts
don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

Oh yeah, I also made a stand alone slirp.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/dynamip ... z/download

You could bind it to a ms Loopback adapter. And at least the emulators won't crash
