macOS Sierra public beta 6 -> SheepShaver

Post by MacUser »

Good news.

I Installed macOS Sierra public beta 6 on an early 2009 iMac (*) and it seems that SheepShaver runs fine without any issues yet in 32bit mode (64bit mode isn't working).
So unless something unexpectedly changes in the final release of macOS Sierra we can still use SheepShaver on the latest OS.

(*) although the iMac is not in the list of supported machines I managed to install macOS Sierra without issues with the info found on this forum:

Thanks for the update! SheepShaver lives for one more year....

Hopefully that's enough time to get a working qemu profile for ROM-based PowerPC Macs.
