Post by billy_ntu »

Dear All,

I really need you help, i have installed the mac os x SERVER 10.3 using Pear PC, everything is fine.

I installed basic contents, so the installation until disk 2.

After installation finished, the software inform me to input my computer's name, time, date, TCIP setting, MAC serial number, etc.

After i keyed in the required field, the message was: THE SERVER IS BEING CONFIGURED" (the completion bar is running), But this one never finish (LIKE NO RESPONSE) hence i can't get my MAC OS X run until now.

Is there anyone encountered this problem?

Is MAC OS X SERVER 10.3 can be run using Pear PC?

Thank you

Hello,

I think the server versions of Max OSX are not supported through Pearpc.

The other problem that i have faced is when i enable the "pci_rt18139_mac=1, when i run Pear pc, i get the message when pear pc try to find the isntallation of TAP 32, it can't find it (under certain windows registry number), althoug i have installed TAP 32 before.

So i never can run pear pc with this network on.

That's a tricky problem. You can try to uninstall the tap driver, reboot and install again.

But it's no guarantee the tap driver will be found next time.

You should also use the latest Pearpc build available.
