No more black window problem with this version of BasiliskII, but strangely, once launched, I cannot switch the virtual Mac to thousands colors or (the wanted...) 256 colors. The only option available is millions colors, whatever Mac OS or ROM I try to use.

Testing BasiliskII for Windows (I use SheepShaver quite every day since many years!), I can only have a black screen, with no error message.

Any idea of what happens?

No idea, but no more problem, now ! :) If it can help the future generations ;-) , it had begun after the installation of the whole software CD of a Pixma 210 all in one Canon printer, and gone away too after the uninstallation of the last one of its 6 or 7 new entries i...

Just got yesterday exactly the same problematic message on a Toshiba laptop... The SheepShaver program was previously normally working on this PC, and is normally working too on 2 other PCs after a copy of its Sheepshaver folder and disk images... Anyway, SheepShaver can launch correctly on this Tos...

Thank you for the help and the tips! :-) All is not so easy, in fact... For example, my cursor keys problem is a HyperCard-only one, and does not occur while in SimpleText. And if I don't use any keycodes file in my SS prefs, I no longer have this cursor keys problem in Hypercard, but another more a...

Can I use this latest version, even if I am under MacOS 8.6 in SheepShaver? In the archive, with the new version of SS, there is two other files: - a 258048 octets "SDL.dll" file; this one is intended to replace the 1702125 one I already have in my Sheepshaver folder? - a "Mac OS ROM_...

Another problem with Hypercard

Using now my favorite Hypercard application on a Samsung NC10 (Windows XP Home edition, french version) instead of my previous MacBook (Mac OS X 10.4) with th latest versions of SheepShaver on both systems and the same disk images used, I note that the arrow keys, which are so useful to go back and ...

The enter key

As an Hypercard user, I use to trap sometimes the enter key stroke... This was not a problem under SheepShaver on my previous laptop (a MacBook), but on my current laptop PC (a Samsung NC10 netbook), I don't find any key doing "enter" like on a Mac. Only "returns"... Is there any...

Hello, I recently install the latest Mac and PC versions of SheepShaver, and enjoyed very much the correct cursor! But using Hypercard, I notice that every window whose height is more than 360 pixels open now only partially, needing the scroll palette. I experiment Print2PDF problems too, trying som...

Disk images types...

Is there a problem using .img disk images with SheepShaver?

I find this format very convenient, because I can use them OK with BasiliskII or SheepShaver, both under Windows or Mac OS X, and with the ability to open/close/read/write those images directly under Mac OS X too.
