CD-ROM driver for 64 bit Windows?
Has anyone redone the CD driver for x64, or are there plans to do so? Quite a bit of a pain that I can't use all the discs with Basilisk II that I did running the emulator on Windows 9x, 2000 and XP.

Printing success from Basilisk II.
Basilisk II 0.8.0.142 on Windows XP. I installed LaserWriter 8.5.1 , did custom install and checked all three boxes. I also installed Adobe PS 8.5.1 . For my Color LaserJet 2500 I downloaded http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/printerdrivers/mac/all/ppdfiles/hp.sit.hqx and installed the generic Colo...

Well it's Windows to the rescue! I used TestDisk to extract an image of the HFS partition from the Zip disk. Then I renamed image.dd to image.hfv and selected it in the Basilisk II GUI. Booted up and Mac wants to initialize and I click Cancel. Disk First Aid fixes a b-tree problem and the disk mount...

Well crap. I was able to mount the ZIP 100 disk in old Basilisk II 142 but HFVExplorer wouldn't see it (or any of my other old ZIP disks) as Mac disks. The drive I'm using is a USB powered Zip 250, recently picked up for free, so I decided it's time to copy my old stuff of the old disks. I have it s...

Image a Mac ZIP 100 disk in Windows?
What will work to make an image of a bootable HFS format Zip 100 disk in Windows? I want to be able to mount the image as a drive for Basilisk II.

BII ignoring screen size settings.
Using BasiliskII_30_08_2010_startupsound.zip and it ignores the screen size settings from the GUI, always runs at 640x480. The commands are in the prefs file but they're ignored. It won't run full screen either. stdout.txt Basilisk II V1.0 by Christian Bauer et al. WARNING: Unknown preferences keywo...

Never thought I'd see someone wanting to correctly emulate a computer malfunction. ;) People usually only care about making the emulator properly emulate correct functioning. It it works 100% at working right, why bother with having it work correctly incorrectly? Or is it incorrectly correctly? What...

Is it the image you're trying to boot from that's corrupt or is it one you're not booting from but are trying to mount? If you can setup another image to boot from and mount the corrupt one as a second image, you might be able to run an old version of Norton Disk Dr on it. I've done that with Basili...

Java "rollup package" for Tiger?
Since it looks like Apple has stopped updating Java for Tiger, is there any way to take all the separate Java updates and roll them all into one massive package, removing any redundancies, so that Java on a fresh Tiger install can be updated to the latest in one step? I'm updating an iMac DV, softwa...

10.4.11 update slows it wayyyy down.
Anyone else experience a huge slowdown in PearPC, official old release or latest redscorp release? After installing 10.4 it was pretty decent performing with the AMD SSE3 redscorp version on an AMD 2.41Ghz LE-1620 with 2gig RAM, running XP SP3. After installing the 10.4.11 update PearPC is as slow a...

Tried that with NATIVECDROM and after the loading bar gets to the end it just sits there. It does the same thing when I try to mount the Apple3Com3C90x-7-sw-pkg.iso image with the IDE set to CDROM I have been able to get it to mount other image files. What'd be nice is if it would use the same netwo...

Free Windows program for creating ISOs from Mac discs.
InfraRecorder. Small download and freeware. It can make ISOs of Mac format CDs and DVDs and it'll burn them correctly so they'll work in a real Mac.

Latest Redscorp release on XP SP3. The only way I was able to get Tiger installed from CD images was after the first CD was done and PearPC quit, I manually edited the config file to add the second IDE controller and mounted CD's 2, 3 and 4. The install completed successfully. Now the big problem is...

Here's the config I'm using currently. The Network section is copied from what the PearPC control panel creates as the one from the online config generator fails to work, enabled or not. I also added to the Disks section for IDE2 so I could have three images mounted after the initial install start w...

Config generator for redscorp?
I'm attempting to get the redscorp version running. It doesn't like what the online config generator sets for network nor does it like what it sets for native CD-ROM. Same goes for the PearPC control panel that's supposed to be specially modified for redscorp. If I try to enable network and/or nativ...
