Re: Game "Vikings" now tried in QEMU
Thanks for all the help, I have tried it on a better pc configuration (to which, sadly, I don't have access all the time) and the settings work without a hitch. I am looking forward to play (once I get the opportunity).

Re: Game "Vikings" now tried in QEMU
The bios folder is there, i have unpacked everything as it was in the archive. I have adjusted the .bat file according to your instructions from the pm (added the line where the iso of the first cd of the game is booted, too). The sound didn`t want want to play at first but after I switched screens ...

Re: Game "Vikings" now tried in QEMU
Noob question, does this have to be done in guest or in host? And yes, I do have only 4GB RAM... (that's possibly too little for a smooth emulation?)

(I am aware this isn't about the Sheepshaver anymore, sorry) So, I went and downloaded the QEMU from the official website, then installed the OS9.2 as described in your guide and eventually I was able to start the game. Re: Game "Vikings" crashes SheepShaver on start
Boxedwine - I have downloaded it and tried to run the two provided games and they worked. However, as I have almost zero experience with linux (I have once installed some user-friendly distro in Virtualbox) and that thing doesn't have a gui and I don't know the syntax and suddenly I am googling how ...

Re: Game "Vikings" crashes SheepShaver on start
An update (the previous reply hasn't been approved yet) - I have created a bigger disk (1000 MB), installed the OS9, put sound as built, thousands of colors, seen the readme for the first time (it describes mostly issues with the lack of memory which is however set on 512 ... not sure of what, kb or...

Re: Game "Vikings" crashes SheepShaver on start

The Quicktime - I don't recall it installed after the game, then again, I am not used to working wit Mac in the first place (that it shows the numb...
