Re: Arbitrary resolutions, multiple monitors, Thousands of colors
I spoke too soon, I guess it didn't work with 7.5.1 but the multi monitor support did work with 7.5.5. Too cool!

Re: Arbitrary resolutions, multiple monitors, Thousands of colors
I got the dual monitors to work with that arbitrary-resolutions build. Couldn't get it to work very well with 7.5 very but it worked ok with 8.0 until it froze.

Re: Qemu-system-m68k-Win64 to run Mac OS 7-8 / AUX3.x / NetBSD
I think it worked, but I've never installed AUX before, but this command shell and the boot screens make me think it worked.
I was also able to install Mac OS 7.5.1 with this same build.
I was also able to install Mac OS 7.5.1 with this same build.

Thank you. I've had a lot of luck running Mac OS 7.1 and 7.5.x in previous builds, but haven't tried AUX yet, will try it with this build.

I'm curious what repository I could download this build from to compile it for Linux.

Qemu-system-m68k for Linux to run MacOS 7.1-8.1
Using these instructions from Cat_7 I was able to successfully build Qemu-system-m68k on Ubuntu and install OS 8. git clone -b q800.upstream https://www.gitlab.com/mcayland/qemu q800-upstream cd q800-upstream ./configure --target-list=m68k-softmmu --enable-gtk --enable-sdl make This will get you a b...

To create a binary to run A/UX revert the last commit and build again. Best, Cat_7 These inst...

Re: Qemu-system-m68k for Windows to run MacOS 7.1-8.1
Hi, You would have to search for a quadra 800 rom yourself, I can't even remember where I got mine. The Qemu version you can download here was built from: https://gitlab.com/mcayland/qemu/tree/q800.upstream You should revert the last commit to that repository get a binary that can boot and run A/UX...

Re: Qemu-system-m68k for macOS to run MacOS 7.1-8.1
Get a sad Mac 0000000F when the CDROM is in the config. I've tried using the MATSHITA/CD-ROM CR-8005/1.0k in the guide and the stock SONY/CD-ROM CDU-8003A/1.8f. I'm using a Quad610.ROM from a working Q800. Originally thought it was my ISOs, with them locked and unlocked. But I tried a few known boo...
