Hi, Sorry, your English is way better then my French ;-) First, the image you created with Diskutility must NOT be mounted when you start SheepShaver. Second, of course it must be an uncompressed dmg, and must be read/write enabled. But I think the error you have comes from the disk image being moun...

Hi, -I have been messing around with DAVE. I can get access to my shares on a windows 2003 server (SMB/CIFS). But the normal chooser does that for you as well. Appletalk is no option. -No success on the local machine (intel mac) for both appletalk (crash) or windows sharing (crash) using DAVE or cho...

Hi, You could try to find out which device corresponds to your usb device in the /dev/ folder on OSX and try to enter that in the box in the GUI. But I don't know if that is a route leading to success... Or you could use the Print to PDF tool to create a PDF that you then move to your shared folder ...

.sit files are stuffit files.
There is still a version for pre osx mac os's available from their site:
http://www.stuffit.com
If I am informed correctly, you might also look for stuffit expander in the installation packages of 7.5.3 It might be contained there as well.
best wishes,

Hi, Maybe I could understand the issue if I knew what MPW was  For the other applications, I guess they are using a usb/serial port to exchange data with your Newton device? If so, you might be in spot of trouble, as SheepShaver doesn't support USB ports, and might have difficulties using seria...

It's not Mac OS 10.2 that should find the tap device, it should use a network card driver to connect through the tap device. If the tap device has been by found by pearpc 0.4, you should install the 3com or realtek driver in mac os 10.2 and see if a network card is detected in the network preference...

Hi, Did you use macdrive also to open the system 7.5.3 volume and copy the files straight on the mac volume? Or just to copy to the c:\basilisk folder and then used HFV explorer to copy the files to mac volume. If you did the first, then maybe the disk image corrupted? Doesn't Basilisk see the cd ro...

About upgrading to 7.5.5: this is mostly a bug fix release. You can download the three disk images from Apple. To know what has changed between 7.5.3 and 7.5.5 read the readme first. Here is the link: http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html For update purposes, you also need DiskCop...
