@ henber This is weird. Did the message not appear with the older SheepShaver version? If you only replaced the SheepShaver application and continued with the same disk image(s) and the same ROM, the system should not behave differently. But sheepshaver says that it cannot find the ColorpickerLib......

Do you use an older build of SheepShaver, like the May 2006 snapshot by Gwenole Beauchesne? Those older builds have many problems with the shared folder, like files becoming invisible, files loosing icons and more. In the latest july 21 2008 build, those problems are solved and the shared folder ('U...

Better do not try a memory setting higher than 512 MB. SheepShaver will not launch and if you use the latest build with built-in preferences editor, you will then need the stand-alone Prefs Editor to access the settings. SheepShaver for MacOSX should run fine with memory settings of 512 MB and below...

I'm assuming it's a problem with the game, not SheepShaver. Although the game mentions it works on 9.0, and specifically says it won't work on 9.1, is it possible that it also doesn't work on 9.0.4? If an application runs in 9.0 on a real hardware Mac, that does not imply that it will run also in 9...

Re: Adding apps?
This may be a dumb question but how do you add programs to Basilisk II. I am trying to add a game and not sure where to put the folder so that it appears on the Basilisk desktop. Well, a folder will appear on the desktop if you place it on the desktop. Exactly how are you trying to add the program?...

1. Sound lost For some reason my sound capabilities disappeared. My sound panel became infunctional (did not properly open) as well as the control strip. I installed a new sound panel and sound conrol strip. However no sound even though the sound panel opens properly. Sound input information: "...

Re: Network Access / Shared Folders / Pointer Mode / .dmg Vo
For those who are interested, I think I've traced the problem to a shutdown routine where the WISYWIG App tries to update files used by an "online" updater/helper plug-in routine, pieces of which are located within the "Application Support" folder of my System Folder. I pulled o...

Re: Network Access / Shared Folders / Pointer Mode / .dmg Vo
RE Unix Shared Folders: Under SS2006 haven't had a problem for over 6 months. Suddenly when I emulate under SS2008 and revert to SS2006 these folders disappear. Strange. I've tried deleting SS prefs, Zapping PRAM, fixing OSX file permissions, etc. Still testing. Unexpectedly disappearing files and ...

Specific (old style) Mac files cannot survive on any other file system than the Mac HFS (or HFS+) file system. Mac files saved on a Windows machine will become unusable. That is why, before being transfered, Mac files are always encoded in a form that will protect them on other platforms. The file n...

Not exactly that. I made an iso (or a .cdr really, is there a difference?) of the CD Rom, and told Sheepshaver to mount that. I was hoping to bypass any hardware-related code. It mounted and used the .cdr image, but the installer did the exact same thing. For an image (iso or cdr is irrelevant) of ...
