Bill Condie Passed Away

I learned that Bill Condie passed away in December of 2020. Bill was one of the original Macintosh Emulation "gang" that hung out here and on the Delphi forums back in the mid to late 1990s. He created the "MacWinDos Forum" on Delphi. He was 86 years old. A few of us were lucky e...

Re: Basilisk 1?

Well, it is worth mentioning that it predated Mini vMac by many years.

I think it likely predated the original vMac by a few months as well.

There was an emulator by the same creator just called "Basilisk."

It was a Mac Classic emulator for BeOS.

The Open Library is currently scanning a microfilm collection of "InCider Magazine" which was published from 1983 to 1993 and focused on Apple and (later) Macintosh computers. They seem to have a fairly complete run: https://archive.org/details/pub_incider-a?&sort=-week Here's an issue...

Nothing comes to my mind, but I will mention that it is worth checking (and requesting) at Macintosh Garden if you don't get an answer here.

They have a forum: https://macintoshgarden.org/forum

Generally speaking, the best place to locate obscure software is Macintosh Garden:

They might already have a copy, so you can also do a search.

His blog was last updated in 2011, but perhaps he still monitors that email address.
