Hi, Would like to try your build, but have a small problem with the .dmg :
DiskImageMounter cries "no mountable file system". Disk Utility doesn’t want to mount it either.
Mac OS X 10.11.6 here.

Re: Work in progress by David Ludwig: BasiliskII port to SDL
Thanks for this build ! I love the way it's possible to have it running fullscreen on a OS X space of is own.
Is network implemented ? Also it doesn't seems to like foreign keyboards (French here), even though my .basilisk_ii_prefs file point to the keycode file.

(solved!) I found a version supporting Kernel 4.2.0 #if LINUX_VERSION_CODE >= KERNEL_VERSION(4, 2, 00) Recompiled using sources from: https://github.com/cebix/macemu/tree/ma ... /NetDriver Problems with slirp but success using eth0 . DHCP did crash the system. Great! - Now I have a KnubblMac with r...

Yes, that's what i used, a empty Mac Classic case, with a R-pi3 and a lcd of the correct size.
It can run minivmac or BII.

The bar is WindowMaker 0.95.7 dock :) with wmclockmon and wmcpuload dock apps running. Also installed from Pkgsrc for ppc. So i've tried ssh -X basiliskII , but doesn't work :/ Will try again later... Rickyzhang - have you tried ssh -X a minivmac ? It's pretty usable. Depend of the machine of course.

Hi Rickyshang, It's "frameskip" sorry , not skipframe . Sorry . Was sleepy :) It's a setting in the .basilisk_ii_prefs file. It is to specify how many frames skip after drawing one frames in the display. https://github.com/sentient06/Medusa/wiki/Basilisk-II-preferences-on-OSX-and-Unix#Fram...

Found that skipframe was at 0 in my BII prefs file. Setting it at 4 solves the display problem.

Re: GSOC qemu Boot Mac OS >= 8.5 on PowerPC system
... So... all that said: if you can attach an old IDE drive to your current Mac (using a USB drive enclosure?) and connect it, you should be able to mount it locally, and use the /dev block device for the drive to load it in qemu using the raw setting. This will let qemu happily read right off the ...

Thanks, I didn’t know that source. Still it didn’t work… keep saying « …don't support this ROM yet." even tho it’s a MacPlus ROM. it's the old vMac emulator, not Mini vMac. Still available here : http://www.leb.net/vmac/download/ The .app wouldn't do anything when double-clicked, but if I cd in...

vMac on OpenSTEP 4.2 try
Hi, Ok, I know it's ... bad to ask for a ROM file. But don't know were to ask, and I've tried all possible ROM files from known sources... I'm looking for a ROM file that would work with vMac on OpenSTEP 4.2. vMac needs a MacPlus ROM , I've found online three versions, Rev 1, 2 and 3. I don't know i...

Re: Known issues when using Qemu for OSX/Windows
Using qemu-system-ppc28-vga.
Partitioned the empty_disk.raw to have OSX 10.3.9 and OS 9.2.1 (french) on different partions. Panther runs fine, and classic the same. But Can’t boot from the OS 9.2.1 partition even though selecting from the startup disk preferences pane.
Boots only on OSX.

I can confirm Appletalk still works perfectly. Here a screenshot showing BII PowerBook G4 screen sharing with another BII on a R-pi with Timbuktu via Appletalk, and at the same time screen sharing with my Mac Classic via IP : http://galgot.free.fr//transit/screenshots/Benjamin-Willard-basiliskII-180...

Yes, super work
Just tried with my older BII build, it works too.
Will try on another Powerbook this afternoon.
If you need any help (as far as my poor competencies can do...) for your BII renovation, ask me.

Ok ;) reloaded sheep_net. btw if I use sh build.sh galgot, it install fine , but if I launch ./BasiliskII just after, it say "no ethernet, can't use sheep_net, permission denied" or something... So I do sudo chown galgot /dev/sheep_net as usual, then it works. Anyway, I did a ping to 8.8.8...

README.md file is there. So I have the latest.
Rebuilded sheep_net twice, and reload.
Still no joy :/ sorry
Many thanks for your patience and work Rickyzhang, but if this takes too much of your time, just leave it. No prob.

Re: Sheep_net.ko on Debian 8 PPC
Ok,
but how should I unfilter the host (HWC) please ?
If I uncheck "eth0 192.168.0.4" the start button is greyed, so can't snif anything...
Shall I use "Loopback: lo 127.0.0.1 ethernet" ?
