Error when trying to run OS X Leopard in VMWare

Post by Jordan882 »

I am trying to run OS X Leopard in a virtual machine using VMWare Fusion on macOS Sierra. The problem is, when I try to start up the VM, I get the following error

Code: Select all

A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state.
I have the OS type set as Other 64-bit because when I try to use OS X Leopard Server as the OS type it detects that it is not OS X Server, which it isn't, but I wanted to see if it would work.

VMWare only officially supports Leopard Server.
