SheepSaver very slow

Hello,
I use sheepsaver in a Intel Imac computer connected to a windows server via AppleTalk ¿over IP?. I connect ok with the server but when I pretend to copy a file, the information is copied very very slow.
I use Hypercard, the stacks are in the windows server and the program run very slow. When I copied the stacks in my hard disk Hypercard run perfectly.
Why run slooow with the Ethernet connection?
