E-Maculation

Hi !
each time I try to emulate a CD on SheepShaver (Version 2.5) it show me an "Audio CD 1" with only one track one it. I follow the instructions from here: https://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/sh ... isk_images

I'm on mac Os Mojave (10.14.5), As my mac is recent I can't read a physical CD on my mac but I can mount a disc image on my desktop. I try with an image disk of Les "Shadoks Le Jeu" (https://macintoshgarden.org/games/les-s ... -promenade) and civilization call power (https://macintoshgarden.org/games/civil ... call-power)

I do have the feeling that every CD will be/do the same

Maybe you need more informations. I'm lost, what should I do ?

I do not know exactly which SheepShaver build you use. Best use the May 2019 or September 2019 build. Anyway, you refer to the old setup manual. For the July 2018 and later builds, the new setup manual applies: https://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/sh ... os_x_setup

This is how I can mount the Shadoks CD successfully:
- decompress the Shadoks.zip to Shadoks.toast
- launch SheepShaver
- in Preferences add the Shadoks.toast file to the volumes list and check the CDROM box
- click the Save and Quit button
- shut down the emulated machine (quit SheepShaver)
- launch again SheepShaver
- the CD mounts fine as CD-ROM on the SheepShaver desktop

I use the 2019.05.04 version
