Setting up ethernet on Mac Os 9

I'm a new SheepShaver user who just downloaded it yesterday, and I am having trouble connecting it to wireless internet. I have the slirp card, and the TCP/IP addresses are:
IP address: 10.0.2.15
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Router Address: 10.0.2.2
Name server addr: 10.0.2.3
Whenever I open up the copy of IE that comes with Mac OS 9, I always get the error message: "Security failure. The server reply is invalid." I don't know why this always happens and I can't find anything that can tell me how to fix it.

P.S. I'm using a Windows 10 Dell Inspiron laptop, in case that might help at all.

Thanks,
LusitaniaU20

Everything is working as designed. The trick is to use Classilla instead of IE for web browsing; IE can't talk modern HTTPS, so you get a security error.

I tried to set up Classilla, but I couldn't find any openable file in the Classilla folder.

The download is a Stuffit archive. How did you move it into SheepShaver?

I have it set up so that I can access files from my host computer inside of SheepShaver, so I just use that method to open the folder.

That will not work. Maybe someone here with more experience with running SheepShaver in Windows (I am a Mac man) can explain how to move a .sit archive from Windows into SheepShaver and decompress it while keeping the archived files intact.

Lets assume you downloaded Classilla over here: http://www.floodgap.com/software/classilla/releases/
You get a 23MB .SIT files in your Downloads folder on Windows.
From SheepShaver, navigate to the Downloads folder with "This PC".
Drag the .SIT file to your SheepShaver HDD (NOT to the Desktop).
Finally expand the .SIT file with Stuffit or Stufit Expander.

If you do not have Stuffit Expander already, start with this (First DL): https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/stuffit-expander-55
You can expand the ZIP in Windows and add the resulting .TOAST to your SheepShaver Volumes tab to mount and install it.

Thank you so much! That finally worked, and I can now use the internet on my emulator!

Sorry for the late reply,
