My problem is that using sheepshaver,
i saved some files from os 9 on osx.
These files are unreadable when back to os9.
In os9 the file kind is "document comptabilité"
when back from osx to os9 the file kind is changed to "document"
i would like to assign these documents to be open with the original software in os9.

Re: sheepshaver - saved files from os9 to osx unreadable bac
- Do you use a regular SheepShaver setup or a preconfigured setup like COI Chubby Bunny?
- If you use a regular SheepShaver setup, which build (build date) do you use?
- Which OSX/macOS version runs on your host system?

Thanks for the answer Ronald.
I solved my problem using filetyper : http://www.mac.org/utilities/filetyper/
With this little software utility I can modify the type of my documents and now the software that created it in os9 is able to open it.
Thank you.
