'enps0' in SheepShaver network menu

Post by Schala »

In Linux (both host and VM) my ethernet interface enps0 shows up instead of 'eth0'. Does this do the same thing as eth0 or... why is it in the list?

Hi,

This seems to be a device naming issue in arch linux. It points to your ethernet device, but whether SheepShaver (using the sheep_net driver) will work through it is unknown to me.
You might have a chance, as SheepShaver clearly recognises it ;-)

Best,
