Speed Tip for OS X Install

Post by Marc »

Hey there

I have finally been able to try OS X 10.3 on PearPC. Very Impressed.

I found the install to be much faster if you set the screen redraw value in your config file to 500. Although this makes the emulator respond like shit, it does speed up the install, and when it's installing you have minimum interaction with it anyway.

So my advice (It has seemed to speed things up for me anyway) set it to 500 for your install then change it to a more usable level when the OS has been installed.
