Can someone tell me why you can't use cd rom?

Hi,

I'm simply curious as to why one has to go about creating isos and whatnot as opposed to accessing real cd roms. Is cd/dvd rom access something that just hasn't been implemented in the Pear Pc build or what? I'm just curious and was interested in knowing why.

becasue this is a alpha version and they havent implemented it because its a hard thing to do
