Install Linux in PearPC with Windows XP as host

Post by Chowsy »

Can anyone tell me how to install Linux (mandrake) within PearPC with Windows XP as Host? I have tried to create an iso image with the Mandrake Disc 1 and started PearPC but no luck. I got the message that there is no bootable partitions/disk. Shall I set the Bootmethod to "Force" instead of "Auto" or "Select" ? If "Force" is the choice, how should I configure the followings:

prom_loadfile = "test/yaboot"
prom_env_bootpath = "disk"

I use prom_bootmethod = "auto".
Downloaded iso and it just works. Installed fine, but have problem booting from hdd image after installation. PearPC asks for bootable partition.
With Linux installed inside PearPC i think it's possible to boot MacOS 9.x with MOL.
