PPC pci card?

Post by schlepp »

With PearPC doing such a good job running most PowerPC operating systems, wouldn't it be a good time for some hardware manufacturer to sell a PPC pci board cheaply without risking a lawsuit from Apple?

Let the board handle the cpu stuff and PearPC handle the rest :D

Apple doesn't make the ppc processor. And as long as it requires you to have a legit copy of macOS they can't sue anyone. Ibm makes the processor so only they could sue over it.

But I wouldn't be suprised if Apple tried to scare the developers with telling them they are going to sue.

I guess the post: the hard truth about PowerPC emulation basically answers my question. Didn't see it before
