Need help with booting (no darwin method)

Post by powrslave »

The install went fine of 10.2 and it restared as expected.
I then followed the instructions in that big post using pdisk to manually make sure the boot part info was set properly.

my part table looks like this

1 apple partition map apple 63@1
2 Apple hsf untitled (6gig)
3 apple free

I then #'d out the prom_env_machargs = "-s"

but when i restart I never get a bootable hd listed...just the 0 and 1(cdrom)

Can anyone point out something wrong?

So how did you format the 6gig HD?

I formatted it while I was in the osx setup.
I believe as extended...then I was able to select the disk icon and install the OS.

Is there anything I can check or do before I try reinstalling?
