Hard Disk Image File

Post by rcwire »

I have tried to unrar the prepped hard disk image supplied by Cat_7, downloaded several times, and yet each time it says archive corrupt.

I have no idea how to unzip the bz2 file on Pear PPC downloads site.

I have an ISO image of Jaguar, the Peeler prog and the ppc build from their site too, and no hard disk image.

Could someone post a link to an image that works, or convert the bz2 file on Sourceforge to a file I can open on a windows pc :):):):)

Thanks!!!

Ok, i did some looking around.

I found this link:
http://sources.redhat.com/bzip2/#bzip2-latest

Downloaded the wintel version and renamed to "bzx.exe"

Ran cmd.exe

At prompt typed in bzx.exe -d <name of pear hard file in bz2>

A few minutes later my image file appeared.

Hope this helps.
