Networking howto with xp sp1 and osx 10.3.4 and home lan.

First of all make sure you use the proper version of pearpc, then install the nic driver (get from here: http://www.kelley.ca/pearpc/)

Then don't share you normal nic inet connection but sellect both connectons and build a bridge. Open the bridge properties and make sure tcp/ip settings are ok.

Make sure the osx config file is set like on the page where you got the files.

Start os x, goto the networking menu, and either set it to dhcp if your local network supports this or set settings manually. click aply and happy browsing to you.

What are the correct settings for the bridge?

Make the tcp/ip settings similar to what your old normal nic tcp/ip settings were.
