I've tried multiple os's and none work they give me the same error.

someone else has complained about the problem to, and the only thing we have in common is an MSI motherboard, which doesn't even have the same chipset. Also it does this in every build, on every os

i followed the advice of using alcohol 120% to make the cd images, fixed it straight away :)
