Pear PC and Mac OS X

Post by averagejoe »

I have Pear PC and i want to run Mac OS X 10.5.2 but when i want to download the 6GB disk image my anti-virus program, "Shaw Secure" said that it was a Trogan-Arc-Bomb.BZip. I tried to create a Virtual Hard Drive but that doesn't work

Hi,

AFAIK PearPC only runs up to 10.4.11, but I haven't checked up on its status.
The disk image can be created with the dd command. dd can be found here:
http://www.chrysocome.net/downloads/dd-0.5.zip

Or pick a prepared image up from the official site:
http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/idesetup.html
(also shows how to use dd) You still have to partition and format the image with the OSX disk utility and restart to get it recognized.

Do you get that error message when you download the 6 gb disk image from THIS website?

Like, this file:

http://www.emaculation.com/pearpc/macosx_6gb.rar

Anyone else get that?
