Hi,

Welcome to the forum!
Have you tried setting prom_bootmethod to "select" in the config file?
It should show you the partitions on the cd from which you might possibly boot.

Please paste what the selection say here.

What cd or dvd are you using to boot?

Best wishes,

I make a Mac OS Tiger iso with UltraISO, and prom_bootmethod is configured to "select"

Here is my conf file

Code: Select all

pci_ide0_master_image = "C:\Documents and Settings\Ivens\Meus documentos\Spin\material tcc\Nova pasta\macosx_6gb (1)\macosx_6gb.img"
pci_ide0_master_type = "hd"
memory_size = 0x2BB00000
ppc_start_resolution = "800x600x15"
redraw_interval_msec = 60

There is no reference to your iso in the config file:
pci_ide0_slave_image = "" should contain the path to your iso between the "".
pci_ide0_slave_type = "hd" should not be "hd" but "cdrom" But you can try both.

I changed the config file but the error continues

Code: Select all

pci_ide0_slave_installed = 1
pci_ide0_slave_image = "C:\MacOSXInstallDiscx86.iso"
pci_ide0_slave_type = "cdrom"

Hi,

I have prepared an older version of pearpc and a config file for you to try.
See if you can get this one to work first before moving to the redscorp build.

http://www.open.ou.nl/hsp/downloads/ppc.zip

I haven't been able to mount my install.iso with redscorp, maybe you are facing the same problem.
