To switch from the C drive to the D drive at the command prompt, just type:

d:

Then you can type:

cd d:\pearpc or whatever the name of your pearpc directory is!

1. double-check what version of OS X you are trying. Remember that you can't use anything past 10.4.

2. Try another ISO. There are plenty for download. If you do a search for "pearpc" on a torrent site, you can probably find an ISO that is supposed to work.

3. Repost your config file here for us to take a look at your new setup.

But really, I think that number two is probably what you want to do. If the path is okay and you are still getting that error, then I think your ISO is bad or not correct for PearPC.

What do you mean by could not open file? Isn't that the same problem you have had all along?

But the config file you posted has problems:

pci_ide0_master_installed = 1
pci_ide0_master_type = "cdrom"
pci_ide0_master_image = ""
pci_ide0_slave_installed = 1
pci_ide0_slave_type = "hd"
pci_ide0_slave_image = ""

As you can see, it is pointing to NO iso image and NO hard disk image at all. the master image and the slave image have to be pointing those.

Try again using the disk image from our site:

http://www.emaculation.com/pearpc/macosx_6gb.rar

Remember to expand it first.

And you're sure it is in the same directory as the pearpc executable and config file and install disk image?
