Install Error: Can't install Mac OS X Tiger [Solved]

Post by Brother156 »

Hello, I just joined the forums in order to ask for help with PearPC.
I followed the instructions on the Emaculation website all the way, but once I get to the screen after the Installation Disk check, the installer seas that there was an error with the install and that I should restart the installation... When I press "Restart" PearPC closes and i have to do all of that over again.

Does anyone know what might be the problem?

I thought it might be the installation image, but it was fine. Or maby it is the actual disk "macosx_6gb.img" that is the problem because it's size is actually 3,415,856 in the folder. Maby that didn't extract properly...

Thanks

Well, I fixed it. Figured out that it was the 6gb disk. I used 7zip inorder to extract it this time instead of using WinAce...
