I have my Macintosh Classic ROM, but due for the limitations, only contains 256K of size instead of 512K. Because of this, which programs do create the Classic ROM to 256K instead of 512K.

I have my Mini vMac variation of Macintosh Classic, the dialog box says:

Quote:
ROM image too short

Quote:
The ROM image file "Classic.rom" is shorter than it should be

Do you know how to fix this?

Edit: I've checked the french emulation forum has ROMs on it but only Classic has 256K, which made by GetROM in Basilisk II.

HALLELUJAH!!! This has been the Holy Grail of ROMs. Thanks for sharing!!!

I don't know how so many bad versions of this ROM got out into the wild. I'm just glad we finally have a proper one.

I have a 136k and a 256k. One of them works with SoftMac, the full Sad Macs 0[...]F

Thanks for those. To make life easier for beginners, the way to get to that file is to go here:

http://macgeek417.host56.com/

and then download the Mini vMac zip file from the list at the bottom of the screen.

The direct link doesn't seem to work - at least not for me.

Thanks again!
