Bizarre. But what could be the purpose of these messages? I do not see linked ads or anything like that.

The author (or bot) will go back in a few months and edit in a link. The original post will be buried deep in the forum with no responses, so no one will notice the link.

The link is not meant to be clicked... it is just meant to build "link popularity" in Google.

Is this new post in an old topic of a similar nature?

I was wondering about the same. It looks suspicious (even from Spain) Check out where I'm at!

I deleted that member and his lonely post. Looked like spam to all of us, I guess.

PS: Looks like a nice spot! But I take it that you are NOT at the end of a pilgrimage? That walking route is the only reason I know about your current location.

Hi,

Perhaps it is when you consider we went to this part of Spain because my girlfriend originates from there. And if you consider that I would go on a pilgrimage for the food it that region of Spain, then perhaps yes.

Sounds like a pilgrimage to me!

Are you still there now? Will you share some details in the travel topic?

Hi,

Today is our last day. We stopped over in France to see the cro-magnon area and the grottoes of Lascaux with their 15000 year old paintings.
Tomorrow we'll drive home.

Best,
