I am trying to install Adobe Illustrator on Basilik 2 (macos 7.6.1) but it has 7 disks to install. I have mounted the 7 disks at same time but still when i install from Disk 1 it asks me to insert other disks. so what could be the problem?
I have also tried to mount the disks in Basilik GUI Manager but same thing happens.

Re: Install software from multiple disks
You can try this method that works with some installers:
Stop the installation.
Create a new folder on the desktop.
Drag the icons of the mounted disks Disk 1 through Disk 7 (not the image files) into that folder.
For each disk a folder will be created with the same name as the disk.
Unmount the disks.
Start the installation from the first folder "Disk 1".
Re: Install software from multiple disks
Hi,
I see it looks for "Installer-Disk 1', not "Disk 1". Some old installer are sensitive to the disk name, so perhaps renaming the disk will help.
All others will probably have similar issues.
Edit: OOPS.
Best,
