Basilisk II Linux Flatpak now available

Post by Seg »

Hi, I have made Basilisk II available on Flathub, which makes it easily available on most current Linux distributions. It is available for x86_64 and aarch64.

https://flathub.org/apps/details/net.cebix.basilisk

The current release is pretty much straight from the cebix github repo with some 64bit fixes. The next release will merge in the kanjitalk755 repo and i am looking to have JIT working. (Flatpak's security model is preventing JIT from operating so that requires some non-trivial work)

If you want to compile your own Basilisk II that runs on aarch64 (cebix does not), check out my repo: https://github.com/SegHaxx/macemu-flatpak

Let me know how it works/doesn't work. :)

I'd suggest ignoring JIT, as it's not really necessary for modern systems.
