You really like Fusion more than Basilisk II?

This guide works well with Basilisk, but it will probably help with Fusion:

This might help a bit:

Basilisk screwed up my cdenable.vxd and doesn't work, but *if* it worked I think I would like that better ... if anyone has basilisk workin on w98se and wants to send my their cdenable.vxd from the windows/system folder that would work, 2. :)

Why are you pointing to Marc Hoffman's tutorial? It's outdated and uses a tricky method that many newbies don't follow completely. Marc created the tutorial before Basilisk II could even emulate a 68040. Switching Model IDs messes alot of people up. I created this tutorial as it's a modern method with no tricks: http://mes.emuunlim.com/macemu/basilisk ... 2setup.htm

Marc's is what I used, so it can't be THAT hard.

switching IDs

Post by macmoron »

I did use that tutorial, and it worked well. I am up and running fine. I ended up using the switch IDs trick a few other time so personally, I'm glad I used that one as I hadn't even noticed that trick. I've played with this enough to know I want a macintosh to play Exile II on http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com
