Below is a link to a document of conversations between Darek and I. I have to admit the part I feel the most embarrasment about is continuing to speak with the guy. I really think he has some sort of mental imbalance. Check out this link if you are bored to see what kind of attitude this guy has. Sorry but the oldest mail is at the bottom so you kinda have to read it from the bottom up.

Someone really needs to simply upgrade Basilisk II's code. We were able to get 68k Mac Emulation, we can do this too! (Encouraging eh?)
Current Problem:
MacOS 8's Setup Assistant Crashing Basilisk II under WinXP Home

Softmac is easily the most vaporware product
EXCEPT for something called gcubix. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a joke or not (because half of the site is), but the source code is available for download, and it says it's under the GPL. Checkit out at
http://benjamin.francois.free.fr/artwork/gcubix/ .

regarding the gcubix...the source code is real. the entire rest of the site is fake. here's a screenshot from their site:

You can get a variety of roms from the update tomes in the rom updaters that you can find on apples site.
Use your 68k emulator to open the archives and tomeviewer to get the roms themselves.
