"PearPC is an architecture independent PowerPC platform emulator capable of running most PowerPC operating systems"
Perhaps this could be compiled for MacOS 8.5 PPC?
From the looks of things, this emulator has many uses.. perhaps the very fist "Virtual PC" for MAC that runs MAC within MAC below OSX
Can you just imagine?
MacOS 8.5 emulating OSX?
About as funny as my friend who emulated WindowsXP on 98 through Virtual PC.

It could probably be ported to macos x, but would that really be of any use?

Maybe as a VM to run PPC Linux? Is there an app for OS X that does that?
