How many pins has SCSI HDI30 male to Centronic 50 pin male ?

Why the name SCSI HDI30 male to Centronic 50 pin male ? On my back of powerbook 150 there is only 30 holes, but the cable has 30 pins or 29 (for HDI30) ?
