The Open Library microfilm scanner continues to scan, and they've just uploaded a bunch of "Byte" issues from 1983 through 1986. Probably some interesting Macintosh stuff in there.

I think they have everything from the first ten years now.
If you are interested in this sort of thing, the microfilm collection on Open Library is now massive. I believe "microfilm" is now the largest category on the site with 131,000 separate issues scanned in. I wish I knew where they got it.
They aren't just scanning in serious publications, but a lot of what I would classify as "ephemera" that would otherwise be lost. Currently they are working on a run of Marilyn Ferguson's weird New Age "Brain/Mind Bulletin."
