Invalid ROM File size issue

Post by SpaceVoyager1701 »

For some reason, no matter what I do, I keep getting this message in the 2022 build of Basilisk II when trying to install system 7.5.3 saying "Invalid ROM file size. Basilisk II requires a 512k or 1MB ROM". I followed everything this install setup told me to do correctly and its still giving me this message. How do I get the dang thing to boot? Here's what the instructions look like. I followed the steps for 7.5.3 in the right order, but I keep getting that error message I just mentioned. Can anyone help me? https://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/ba ... g_macos_81

Hi,

Which rom are you currently using?
You might want to try the rom found on the redundant robot website. Search for redundantrobot sheepshaver and download the Performa rom.

Then try again.

If you're not using the RedundantRobot Performa ROM, you can check this list to see if the one you're using is compatible with BII:
