please send any info on speed of SheepShaver on the new machines. I will buy one if multiple realtime streams can approach OS9 performance..
any comments, advice, welcome

Well, you will need to wait till a forum member will actually use SheepShaver on one of the new machines.

I use SheepShaver on a M1 iMac and it feels pretty fast.

Not sure what you mean with "OS9 performance" and with "multiple real life streams" in relation to MacOS9 and SheepShaver. Exactly what kind of improvements you hope to get, compared with your current SheepShaver setup?

I have a M1 Pro MBP and am running Mac OS 9 on SS. It feels pretty fast. However, it has been years since I last ran SS on an Intel machine, so I can't really compare my experience between the two. I'm not sure if SS runs any better on M1 machines, but I suppose it is possible.
