SheepShaver Mouse is Choppy (Windows X)

Post by Gidoza »

Hi there,

All is running well in SheepShaver now except for one item - the mouse doesn't feel..."natural." It's like there's a slight like between moving the real mouse and the pointer on the screen's movement. It's not a game-breaker by any means, but it *is* irritating and slows things down a little. Any fixes for this? (yes, I have looked at other threads but wasn't sure they were referring to the same phenomenon - it seems like many threads refer to SheepShaver's lag as a whole, which is not my experience)

Thank you,
-G

Did you make sure to set in the GUI "Window Refresh Rate" to "Dynamic"?

I had the same issue, turns out you have to set the mouse to hardware cursor in the preferences file.
