Anyone know how to get this to run in SheepShaver? I am using the most recent Windows build.

Double Click?
Do you get an error or what is the problem?

I tried the demo in MacOS 9.0.4 on SheepShaver for MacOSX. The application launches and then immediately quits. Tried it with different screen resolutions, makes no difference. That the application did indeed run, though for less than a second, is apparent by the creation of a preference file.

That's the problem I have. Ferazel's counterpart, Harry the Handsome Executive, does run, but looks muddled:

Harry is because of too less colours, it needs thousands or millions of colours. That game crashed for me while at the splash screen on OS 7.5.3
Will try with 8 or 9 later.
Do you have a download link for Ferazel? Seems like Ambrosia took it off.

It is automatically set to 256 colors, though.

Bad luck, I talk too fast, the download doesn't begin.
I have the installer in my archives, but the weigh is too high (22 Mb) to be sent by mail (and not legal)

I was just able to run Harry on SheepShaver using OS 7.5.3 at million of colours. I don't think it looks muddled, it's an old game and we just didn't see the "bad" quality on our old CRTs while we now see with the shiny TFTs
Here is a screenshot of mine:
and a Screenshot which came with Harry
So it doesn't seem like a problem.
Ferazel is loading, will try when it's done.

No Luck yet.
It's too weird that it doesn't give an error msg.

Would it be possible to use a debugger to find out why it quits?

Would be worth a try, if I were just able to remember the name of the debugger I knew for Classic.

Can anyone around here try it? I sure hope we can find a solution or anyone stupid enough to go Intel will NEVER BE ABLE TO PLAY FERAZEL'S WAND AGAIN!

My new Mac is a MacBook Pro, but I am not stupid, as I keep my old Power Mac G3.

But those who HAVE gone to Intel, will not be able to play, so we need to make it work in SheepShaver.

Yes, it's true. I will check it and I will try to find a way to play it with Sheep Shaver.

With the Debugger (MacsBug) installed, SheepShaver crashes when I start Ferazel. But other games like Harry still work fine. :/

They had this problem over at Ambrosia as well.
Does MacsBug still leave a report?
Will another debugger work?
