UTC vs. localtime in QEMU

Post by gpz500 »

Hello everybody,
I experienced that every time I start QEMU with Mac OS 9.2.2 as guest OS (Windows 7 as host OS), the guest's clock has ever been on UTC time, even when my time zone (UTC+1) was correctly set within both the guest & host OS.
Tinkering with QEMU settings has resulted that

Code: Select all

-rtc base=localtime
QEMU option fixes the issue.
Hope that this piece of information could be useful to someone .
